Could Syracuse lose Jones?

Is All-State Defensive tackle Arthur Jones from Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY) re-thinking his commitment to Syracuse?

"Art is still verbally committed to Syracuse but has decided to look around," says Union-Endicott Athletic Director Al Brunetti. "He is going to visit Rutgers on the weekend of January 21st. Art has been in contact with Coach Robinson at Syracuse and his conversation with him went well. He just wants to make sure he is making the right decision and is going to take one trip to see what's out there."

Mr. Brunetti went on to say that Jones will make a decision on whether to stick with his commitment to Syracuse sometime this week. So stay tuned.

Arthur Jones is a 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive lineman that made first team all-state and first-team All-Binghamton Metro Area in 2004. Jones is one of the top ten football players in New York State in 2004.
