Pratt to visit Syracuse

Nottingham High School's (Syracuse, NY) star receiver Darnell Pratt is going to Syracuse's junior day this weekend looking for an offer according to head football coach Paul Sealy.

"He is going to Syracuse this weekend and would like Syracuse to be his first offer. It is just a matter of time before he starts getting offers, he is getting mail and phone calls from pretty much the entire Big East and Big Ten. He is a 6'4 and 210-pound Wide Receiver that you can just throw the ball up in the air too and he will go and get it. He also has a vertical leap that is amazing. I am surprised he doesn't have any offers at this point."

Coach Sealy went on to say Darnell would camp at Syracuse when he will take the whole Nottingham football team there this summer.

Darnell Pratt is a 6-foot-4, 210-pound Wide Receiver that made Honorable Mention All-CNY and 1st All-League in 2004. Pratt averaged an amazing 31 yards per catch as he caught 13 passes for 405 yards and 7 touchdowns. He led his football team to the Section semi-finals after the team went winless the year before. He also led the Nottingham Basketball team to Class A Section title and a trip to the New York State Final Four. Pratt is widely recognized by many as one of the top ten football players in New York State for this upcoming season.
