Saint Joseph's Collegiate (Buffalo, NY) is a high school that has three athletes in the NFL today. Head Football Coach Bob O'Connor believes Naamon Roosevelt has the ability to join them.

"Naamon can do it all, he is our quarterback and leads our offense. On defense he is our leader as a lockdown cornerback. There is nothing he cannot do on a football field."

Roosevelt is being recruited as an athlete but a lot of Division 1 schools like him as a defensive back. They're a bunch of schools that are sending Roosevelt mail But five schools are standing out above the rest right now according to Coach O'Connor.

"Syracuse, Boston College, Penn State, Notre Dame, and Maryland are recruiting Naamon the hardest right now. He has been to a junior days at Syracuse and Boston College and really enjoyed those. Naamon and his dad really liked Syracuse when they went there. They were real impressed with the new coaching staff. As far as Boston College, we have had a great relationship with them over the years with one of our former players Sean Ryan who was the starting tight end for three years and is now in the NFL. Boston College knows what kind of players we produce."

Roosevelt currently in the process of setting up visits to Maryland, Notre Dame, and Penn State. He plans on one day camping at all five of these schools in the summer.

Naamon Roosevelt is 6-foot 1; 175-pound Quarterback/Defensive Back that made 3rd team All State and 1st team All Western New York in 2004. He ran for over 1,000 yards as a quarterback and had 17 touchdowns. He is widely considered to be one of the top fifth teen best football players in New York State for this upcoming season.
