The Orange are among the leaders for one of the top linemen in the Northeast, if not the country. His stock has been rising fast as he has added eleven scholarships in the past month, but Syracuse remains in contention.
Blowing up may be an understatement when describing Ocean Township (N.J.) offensive lineman Lou Eliades
(6-4, 275, 5.0) and his offer sheet. A month ago, Eliades had 10 scholarship offers now he has 21.
"I added offers from Virginia, West Virginia, Nebraska, Illinois, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kansas, Temple, Connecticut, and verbals from Duke, Penn State, and Notre Dame, Eliades said.
Miami, Syracuse, Michigan State, Rutgers, Indiana, South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt and Boston College had all offered previously.
Eliades just returned from the Virginia camp, where he spent four days, and he will attend the Virginia Tech camp July 9th.
"I think I did well at Virginia," Eliades said.
The "Garden State" standout is also planning a trip to UConn before school starts, and a return trip to Syracuse.
"I'm going to try and head back up to Syracuse sometime," Eliades said. "I really like the coaches and the campus at Syracuse. The only thing I don't like is the nasty weather.
