When choosing the right school for many of these high school athletes it comes down to finding the right fit for each individual, and whether each school has that feeling of home for that player. Those were all concerns for the newest Syracuse Orange Delone Carter.
"I actually committed in late May, but we wanted to keep it quiet so we were not bombarded by al the media requests for interviews."
"When I went there I just felt comfortable and I felt at home, the coaches seemed very happy when I told them I was committing, they said I was there number one running back."

"I did not get to see all of the campus when I was up there before. I did like what I saw very much; the dorms, football facilities, and of course the Carrier Dome. "I really wanted to play there, that Dome is something else. I can't wait to score a touchdown in there when all the fans are screaming."
Carter has also expressed the coaches desire to see if he can contribute early on in his college career as well. "They told me I could come in and compete and be able to play for a starting roll."
