QB R.J. Anderson: He was just good enough last year to beat out Troy Nunes for the starting job. This year he's going to combine his running-back mentality with an improve air game. The rest of the Orangemen offense will follow should the offensive line provide adequate protection.
Bumps and Bruises:
FS Maurice McClaine (leg) will miss the regular season. He was projected as a starter earlier in the year. . . QB Troy Nunes is still recovering from wrist surgery. . . LB Clifton Smith is ready to go after shoulder surgery in the offseason. . . Billy Wilson hurt his knee and will be out for at least 8 weeks.
