Alec Lemon Named 2nd Team All American

Syracuse Orange football commit, WR Alec Lemon of Arundel High School in Maryland, was named to the MaxPreps All American 2nd team.

Alec Lemon, a 6'2 185 pound WR from Gambrills, Maryland who committed to Syracuse in August, was named a 2nd team All American by MaxPreps. MaxPreps called Lemon "One of the nation's leading receivers and arguably Maryland's best player". This year the Arundel Senior HS wide receiver tied Maryland state records with 103 receptions and 23 touchdowns, while also breaking the Maryland state record with 1,616 receiving yards. He averaged over 200 all purpose yards per game.

Lemon also scored 4 TD's on the ground while picking up 3 additional TD's on a kickoff return, an interception and a fumble return.

Alec was also named the Capital Gazette 2008 Player of the Year, 1st team Washington Post All Metro, and 1st team All-County and All-Met by the Baltimore Sun.
