Syracuse wins 18th straight at home

Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points and added 10 rebounds as Syracuse (20-4, 10-3 Big East) crushed West Virginia (13-12, 4-9), 89-51.

Hakim Warrick and Kueth Duany each scored 18 as the Orangemen won their 18th straight game at home, 16th this season. Syracuse built a 35-17 halftime lead and then cruised in the second half, partly because of their defense.

A tough man-to-man limited the Mountaineers to 27 percent from the field as Kevin Pittsnogle (2-for-10), finished with just nine points and nine rebounds.
