Syracuse Gets Second Verbal

Syracuse picked up their second verbal commitment for the 2011 class on Friday when Cornwall, N.Y., running back Tyree Smallwood pulled the trigger and gave a verbal commitment to the Orange coaching staff according to sources close to Scout.com.

Tyree Smallwood, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound running back from Cornwall Central High School committed to Syracuse on Friday according to sources close to Scout.com.

As a junior, Smallwood carried the ball 175 times for 1541 yards and 22 touchdowns and also caught 14 passes for 233 yards and three more scores.
