Crume Ready to Commit

Syracuse fans have been hoping to get a big body in the middle of their defensive line and it looks like they'll be getting on within the next month as Detroit, Mich., native Eric Crume told today he plans to commit to the Orange this month.

Eric Crume, a 6-foot-1, 315-pound defensive tackle from Central High School knows what school he wants to go to, but just wants take his visit before he gives the coaching staff the final word.

"I'm close to being an Orangeman right now, very close," Crume stated. "I'm going to take my visit down there next month and more than likely I'll commit after that visit. I've just been talking a lot with Coach Tyrone Wheatley and that relationship is great."

"I'm just sold on Syracuse with their coaching staff and the way they treat me," Crume added. "I've also talked to a couple of the recruits on Facebook and they're all awesome guys, so I already feel like part of the family. I just want to get up on campus and check things out and then I should be making my commitment to Syracuse."

Crume has his first game of the season on Friday against Detroit Mumford.
