TCU is at the top

Last summer at a TCU one day camp, Bastrop cornerback Antwuan Davis prospect caught everyone's attention not only with his attire(full-length purple spandex), but also with his game.

Davis blistered the forty-yard dash with a 4.34, best on the day and was one of the better cover corners in attendance. All before he made a big splash as a junior. The prospect is regarded as one of the top corners in Texas for the 2013 class with nearly a handful of offers.

Davis was one of many junior day attendees at the TCU junior day on Saturday. Davis felt like he was at home on his visit.

"I felt really at home," Davis said of his visit. "Overall it was a lot of fun, I enjoyed it a lot. I enjoyed Coach Patterson and everything and all of the other coaches. They have some really nice facilities, the weight room is nice. I also liked the lounge where all the players meet at and stuff like that. I got to see their uniform and even got to try on their helmet."

Davis added an offer from TCU on Saturday when Coach Gary Patterson extended a verbal offer. Although he admits it was tempting, Davis didn't pull the trigger just yet.

"I didn't commit but I did really like it," Davis answered when asked if he committed.

Throughout the process, TCU has been the steady school Davis always lists among his favorites. Where do they stand now?

"They're at the top, they're definitely at the top," Davis said of the Frogs.

Davis says he will likely make a junior day visit to Texas A&M on February 18th. As for when a decision will be made, one could be coming very soon.

"I'm going to end up committing pretty quick but I just don't know when though," Davis said.

Could he see himself committing to TCU?

"Yes sir, definitely," Davis finished.
