Frogs zero in on local DE

Get to know the name Daeshon Hall because chances are, you'll be hearing it a lot. The 6'6" 220 pound defensive end prospect from Lancaster is making waves and he's caught the attention of numerous programs including TCU. caught up with the local star to get his thoughts on his visit to Ft. Worth for TCU's junior day.

"It was good" said Hall of the visit. "I really liked how the campus was set up. Everything was really close together."

While Hall says he's not tipping his hand to where he's leaning just yet, he really liked what he saw on his visit to TCU.

"I liked everything about it" he said. "I like the new stadium, the uniforms, the new helmets, the campus; everything."

While Hall didn't commit, he said he saw enough of TCU to get a good feeling for what he could expect if he were to commit to the TCU program.

After meeting with the coaches, Hall had a good feel for the way TCU would use him on defense as well.

"I really like the 4-2-5 defense and how the coaches let their d-linemen stunt and let their ends run free" he said. "I like how they use their defensive ends and how they play defense."

With offers already extended from programs such as TCU, Missouri, Texas Tech, Baylor and Washington, Hall knows that he can take his time to make the right decision.

When asked if he had a timeframe in mind to make a decision, he was short and to the point. "I'm undecided right now" he said. "I don't know when I'll make my decision."
