Frogs after Arizona CB

If TCU's last two recruiting classes are any indication, the staff certainly doesn't have a problem going after out of state players; signing ten out of state players in that timeframe.

While traditionally going east for those out of state players, they've also ventured to the west a bit more.

The newest target the Frogs are on the trail for out west is Chandler (AZ) Hamilton cornerback Cole Luke. The 6-foot, 165-pounder currently has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Purdue and Washington.

While some may feel the distance from Arizona to TCU could be a factor, one benefit for the Frogs is Luke has family that lives in the Ft. Worth area.

Luke spoke with receiver coach Trey Haverty earlier this week.

"He was just telling me that they were interested in me and telling me stuff about the school," Luke said.

With family in the Ft. Worth area, is TCU a school he has an interest in?

"Yes, it would be," Luke said.

Luke says he doesn't know much about TCU other than they have a good program and good academics. "I know they're a pretty good football team and good school as well."
