After signing two quarterbacks for the 2012 class, TCU have their eyes set on a few targets for the 2013 class with the idea of taking one.
The Frogs were the first to offer Whitewright's Tyrone Swoopes
; it also happened to be their only offer to a quarterback for the 2013 class. After Swoopes ended his recruitment on Friday by committing to Texas
on Friday, the Frogs are turning up their attention now to Colleyville (TX) Heritage signal caller Cody Thomas
The Frogs have showed Thomas interest for a while and on Sunday afternoon Thomas confirmed via text that TCU had offered.
Thomas was among the DFW area passing leaders; throwing for 3,296 yards and 36 touchdowns. He also led the Panthers to a 9-2 record in 2011.
In addition to his TCU offer, Thomas has offers from Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, USC and Vanderbilt among others.
Thomas has been invited to attend TCU's junior day on Sunday.
"I may try to go," Thomas said via text.
Thomas is also scheduled to attend the Feb. 25th junior day at Texas. When asked if Thomas still plans to make the trip to Austin he's not certain at the moment.
"I'm not sure (if he will visit)," Thomas finished.
