Offers flooding in for Diarse

At 6'1" and 210 pounds, John Diarse projects to several positions at the next level. The ultra-talented athlete from Neville High School in Monroe, La. is pulling in offers left and right. With eight offers already on the table, more are sure to come in. Diarse says he's receiving offers every other week at this point. HornedFrogBlitz.com caught up with Diarse to get the latest.

"It's going really good right now, I'm pulling in offers every other week right now" he said. "I'm getting a lot of interest from a lot of different schools and I'm just enjoying the process."

With offers on the table from Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, La. Tech, LSU, Mississippi State and TCU, Diarse is taking the surge of offers in stride. While he says he likes a couple of schools right now, he's in no hurry to make a decision.

"I really want to drag it out" said Diarse. "I really want to catch as much of this as I can. I'll probably wait until signing day and just enjoy the process."

While a number of schools have shown interest, Diarse says that a couple really stands out to him.

"I'm really liking LSU and Alabama right now" he said. "I like the discipline they play with, the speed they play with and the coaching they get. Both of them have great staffs and they're in the SEC. That's really where I want to play."

With LSU and Alabama seeming to have the upper hand, does TCU still have a chance?

"Oh yes sir" said Diarse. "I talked to coach Burns and he was telling me that he really wants me to get over there for a visit with the coaches and that he really wants me to be a Horned Frog. I'm going to try to get up there sometime this month."

With a trip to TCU in the works, Diarse described what it is that he's looking for in a school. "Location is really big to me because I don't want to be too far from my family. I want them to be able to come see me play" he said. "Then its education, do they have what I'm wanting to major in? If you don't have an education, you might as well be dead so that's real important to me."

Diarse went on to describe the other main factor in his decision.

"The other thing is, does everyone get along? The coaches, the players, the training staff, they all have to get along" said Diarse. "Not all schools are like that and that's something I'll be paying attention to. I want to see if everything runs smoothly."

With many offers on the table and more to come in the very near future, Diarse knows he'll have a tough decision to make. Stay Logged on to HornedFrogBlitz.com to follow along on the journey with John Diarse.
