Durley Commits to TCU

Sources have confirmed to Alex Apple and HornedFrogBlitz that new head basketball coach Trent Johnson has landed his first commitment from Aaron Durley, a 6'10 center from Houston, Texas.

Sources have confirmed to HornedFrogBlitz.com that TCU has in fact landed a commitment from former Marquette signee Aaron Durley. At 6'10 and 280 pounds, Durley is a true center, one of the first to sign at TCU in years. After the release of Ryan Rhoomes and Reggie Murphy from their letters of intent, Durley fills the spot on the front court vacated by those two former TCU signees. Durley was orginally committed to Marquette, but he was let out of his letter of intent by Marquette coach Buzz Williams. At George Bush High School in Houston, Durley played behind Texas signee Cameron Ridley who is one of the premier centers in the 2012 class. With Ridley filling a huge need in the 2012 class, new head coach Trent Johnson and his staff now have more flexibility in signing who they would like with the remaining spots in the class.
