Frogs Stay Hot, Land Henderson

Mansfield Summit's Bryson Henderson became the Frogs 9th commitment of the 2013 class on Tuesday. HornedFrogBlitz's Jeremiah Glenn caught up with Henderson to talk about why he chose the Frogs

The TCU Horned Frogs have been on a roll on the recruiting trail as of late. Coming into the day, they had secured commitments from four players in the last 7 days. Now they can add commitment number nine and the fifth player in the last week to the list. Manfield Summit's Bryson Henderson has made the call and he talks with to fill us in on what made him pull the trigger in favor of the Frogs.

"Yes sir, I committed" said Henderson. "It was close to home, they have my major (broadcasting), and when I visited there, I knew it would be really good for me."

Henderson says that location and the ability for his friends and family to see him play was a big factor in his decision.

"My friends and family can come see me and they don't have to travel so far" he said. "It's only about 30 minutes away so that's nice."

At 6'5" and 250 pounds, Henderson looks like he could project to a couple of different positions. Will he be fast enough to play end or can he put on enough weight to play inside? One thing is for certain, the TCU staff will find a place for him to play and he'll fit in to whatever they want him to do.

"I can play defensive end or tackle" said Henderson. "I told the coaches that I'll play wherever they want me to play."

Henderson, who has been a hot commodity as of late, says that he's done with the process. He likes what the Frogs have to offer and he won't be looking around anymore.

"I'm finished with everything, I'm solid" he said. "I'm 100%".

Henderson becomes the 9th overall commitment for TCU and their 5th commitment on the defensive side of the ball.
