"Yes sir, I committed" said Henderson. "It was close to home, they have my major (broadcasting), and when I visited there, I knew it would be really good for me."
Henderson says that location and the ability for his friends and family to see him play was a big factor in his decision.
"My friends and family can come see me and they don't have to travel so far" he said. "It's only about 30 minutes away so that's nice."
At 6'5" and 250 pounds, Henderson looks like he could project to a couple of different positions. Will he be fast enough to play end or can he put on enough weight to play inside? One thing is for certain, the TCU staff will find a place for him to play and he'll fit in to whatever they want him to do.
"I can play defensive end or tackle" said Henderson. "I told the coaches that I'll play wherever they want me to play."
Henderson, who has been a hot commodity as of late, says that he's done with the process. He likes what the Frogs have to offer and he won't be looking around anymore.
"I'm finished with everything, I'm solid" he said. "I'm 100%".
Henderson becomes the 9th overall commitment for TCU and their 5th commitment on the defensive side of the ball.
