Henderson was among the talented group of prospects at TCU's mini-camp last Friday and turned in an impressive performance.
"It was great, I picked up some new drills dealing with the D-line," he said.
"Today was actually all new to me because I've never been on the offensive side of the ball and I learned some new stuff. I think I did well."
Although he didn't receive an offer, Henderson says the coaches have told him where he stands in the process and to keep working hard toward his goals.
"They've let me know that I was on their board and that they are very, very interested and that the decision might not happen now but I should look forward to hearing from them soon and to not be discouraged and to keep my head up," Henderson said.
Henderson is quick to admit that if TCU offers, they will vault straight to the top of his list.
"I love TCU, I've visited the campus and seen everything, I love it here," Henderson said.
"With all the new stuff that's being built, I would love to be able to come to TCU."
