Robinson Impresses at Camp

Hurst (Texas) L.D. Bell offensive lineman Jesse Robinson had a solid performance at TCU's camp. He talks with HFB.com about in this exclusive interview.

Hurst (TX) L.D. Bell offensive lineman Jesse Robinson is one of the rising prospects not only in North Texas, but the entire state.

At 6-foot-6, 280-pounds, Robinson currently holds offers from Kansas State, Nevada, Arkansas State, Louisiana-Monroe, North Texas and Texas State.

Robinson was one of the top performers in a talented pool of lineman last Friday at TCU's one day camp. The big lineman says he learned plenty from the camp and enjoyed the high quality of competition the venue provided.

"It was real fun getting to go out there and compete with the guys and work with the coaches," he said. "I liked going against the Trinity goes; I get to go against them every year. It was also good to go ahead against different people that I haven't gone up against before."

Robinson didn't receive an offer after the camp but was told the coaches are still evaluating him and should let him know something in a few weeks.

"Some of the coaches said they were going to have a meeting on how the camp went and they would be letting me know the information on that and what they come up with next week," he said.

What does Robinson like about TCU?

"They're a good school, good team and they've come a long way in recent years," Robinson said. "They're making big strides. They have really good coaches that are going to coach you well."
