One quick glance and you can see that the two deep is full of redshirt or true freshman players. Of the 22 starting positions on the two deep, 15 freshmen are in the two deep, led mostly on offense where ten players are in the two deep. Only 16 upperclassmen are listed on the two deep.
Notable changes to the roster include the arrival of sophomore linebacker Antonio Graves. The 6-foot-2, 214-pounder started the spring as a linebacker but moved to safety a few weeks in. Graves was awaiting his academic eligibility before he could practice this fall and with his return he adds depth to the Frogs' depleted linebacker corp. His addition to the roster was by far the biggest surprise. Former quarterback Matt Brown has surpassed David Porter at receiver behind Skye Dawson which isn't bad considering he's only worked at the position for a little over a week. Another notable change is senior Jeremy Coleman shifting from the defensive line to the offense line; although he hasn't made the two or three deep just yet.
