TCU Leads for Elite Receiver

Clarksville, TX WR Gary Moore is drawing interest from elite programs throughout the country. TCU is sitting pretty with the big target should they extend an offer.

The TCU Horned Frogs offense has turned into a juggernaut over the past 3 seasons and has continued its domination moving into the 2012 season. With the offensive explosion comes interest from some of the nation's elite playmakers and Clarksville, TX is home to one of the nation's best. WR prospect, Gary Moore (6'5" 215) spoke with and says the recruiting process is heating up.

"It's going alright" he said. "Tulsa and Arkansas State have been contacting me the most right now. I've been hearing from Texas and TCU a little bit too."

With offers on the table from Arkansas State and UTSA, Moore has caught the attention of some of the nation's top programs. Although they haven't offered yet, expect some of these teams to throw their hat into the ring soon.

TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Missouri, Alabama, LSU and Florida are just some of the schools that have been by to inquire about Moore. The talented receiver has them all talking, so what's the hold up?

"They just want to see my plays on film first" said Moore. "They also want to see my test scores too; they want me to get my school work done first."

While most recruiters are telling Moore they like him at receiver, his coach says he could project to numerous positions, including either TE or DE. TCU likes him at receiver.

With TCU's 2013 class filling up quickly, scholarships for the Horned Frogs are highly coveted these days. Moore says he hopes to get to Ft. Worth for a game soon and says an offer from the Frogs would end the process.

"I've never been up there but I'm supposed to be going sometime this year to see a game." He said. "If TCU offered that would be the school that I would go to."

So a TCU offer would end the recruiting process for the talented receiver?

"Yes sir, I would commit right then."
