Moore Likes What He Sees At TCU

Clarksville, Texas wide receiver Gary Moore was impressed with what he saw from the Frogs against Texas Tech.

Clarksville, Texas receiver Gary Moore was one of the top recruits in attendance last weekend as TCU played host to Texas Tech. Although the Frogs came out on the losing end, their performance was good enough to have Moore liking what we saw.

"I liked it, I liked the atmosphere they had down there," he said of the TCU game. "I like how they throw the ball; they move the ball around a lot."

Moore, at 6-foot-6, 215-pounds, holds offers from Missouri, North Texas, Memphis, Texas Tech, Tulsa and UTSA. The big receiver has several others that are close to extending offers, including TCU.

Although he didn't receive an offer while on the visit, he knows where he sits with the Frogs.

"They're trying to get me on an official visit and when they do they'll probably offer me then," he said.

TCU along with Missouri, who offered a few weeks ago, are his favorites.

"Them and Missouri are my top schools right now," he said.

Moore has helped Clarksville to a 4-3 record, hauling in 16 catches for 272 yards and 4 scores despite missing one game and most of another.

"I haven't had as many catches this year because they haven't thrown me the ball too much," Moore said. "I haven't played in basically two games though; I'll be back for our next game."

Missouri appears to be the first school Moore will take an official visit to in the future. He's still unsure when he will take other visits.
