Rated as the No. 32 offensive tackle in the country for the 2014 class, Schlottman said he enjoyed his experience despite the Frogs loss.
"It was a fun and exciting atmosphere," he said. "They played well and kept up with Oklahoma which is a good team."
Schlottman had the opportunity to speak with TCU offensive line coach Eddie Williamson prior to the game and although an offer hasn't been discussed, the coach let him know he'd be visiting his school soon.
"I talked to coach Williamson and it was mostly just talking about when he was going to come to Brenham," Schlottman said.
The big lineman hasn't received an offer from any school just yet, but it's still early in the process. This is why he doesn't have a favorite and is keeping every option open.
He does have some good remarks about the Horned Frogs however.
The atmosphere was really fun, the facilities are awesome and the people are nice," he said of TCU.
With the goal of one day becoming a coach, Scholttman is looking for a school with a good education and preferably one that is close to home.
"I want to be a coach, so I would like to go to a good school for that," he said. "I would like to stay relatively close to home."
