Frogs considering Hunter at linebacker

Prosper high school star Money Hunter has heard from TCU as the Frogs are weighing extending at offer to Hunter at the linebacker position.

Prosper safety Money Hunter who holds three offers from SMU, Utah, and West Virginia has been hearing from TCU who is considering him as a linebacker.

"I've talked to Coach Sharp, and he has said they are considering recruiting me as a linebacker," Hunter said.

"We've talked about the position, and he said if they start to recruit me, they will recruit me at the linebacker position."

Hunter said he has not discussed with TCU the possibility of an offer at this point.

"I am pretty wide open, looking for something to happen," Hunter said.

Hunter who is ranked as the no. 103 safety by Scout.com said some doors have closed for him at other schools.

"Utah already told me that they didn't need me because they already had somebody commit," Hunter said.

"West Virginia, I actually sent the coaches messages on Facebook asking to schedule an official visit. I sent Coach Holgerson one, and then I sent coach Keith Patterson one. He replied back asking for my number. I gave him my number, and I haven't heard from him since then, so I've asked three times and they haven't replied back, so I guess they don't need me."

Hunter said he has not heard from Oklahoma State, and SMU remains a backup option.

"I mean I'll probably have to walk-on somewhere, and [Oklahoma State] is one of the places I might walk-on to," Hunter continued.

Hunter, ranked as a three star by Scout.com says he will wait to see if another opportunity arises for him soon.
