But first, he made one last visit. Fromayan attended a few Horned Frogs games this fall but those trips were paid out of pocket. The visit to the campus this past weekend was finally his official visit.
"The visit went well and they showed me a great time when I was with them," he said.
Fromayan, who switched his commitment to TCU over the summer, said the visit was more about getting him prepared for campus life.
"The visit wasn't about selling the program as much as it was getting acclimated to campus and the team," Fromayan said. "The made it a unique visit."
Fromayan, along with Bryson Burtnett are the two early enrollees for the Frogs 2013 class. With 16 true freshmen seeing the field from the 2012 class, the bar has been set high for the next crop of signees. Fromayan should get a chance to see early playing time and the coaches have told him to be prepared to make a contribution.
The 6-foot-5, 275-pounder says it's ‘fun to know' that he'll be part of a college program in less than a month.
"(They said) to come in with the mindset to compete and contribute and that I could play anywhere along the line," he said.
Fromayan was named first team 5-6A at offensive tackle.
