Calvin who picked up his first offer just over a month ago now holds six offers.
As of Wednesday night, Calvin is now seeing interest from TCU as well.
"They were saying that they are interested, and we set up a home visit for Friday morning," said Calvin who will leave Friday afternoon for an official visit at New Mexico.
"They are very interested in me, and they said ‘we might want to offer you a scholarship. I'm hoping that maybe they will offer on Friday," Calvin said.
The 6'1 Calvin did not start playing cornerback until the second half of Centennial's season. His size and quickness have caught the eye of several college coaches since the conclusion of his senior season. Calvin plays alongside current TCU commit Ranthony Texada for Frisco.
"I don't know for sure but I think they want me to play safety or corner, and they want to do a home visit with me on Friday with Ranthony [Texada]."
Calvin said he will talk to Texada about the Frogs, and he knows Texada has high hopes for the 2013 season at TCU.
"I'll talk to Ranthony more, but he was saying that it would be good if we went to TCU together, and he was saying that next year a national championship is definitely in the picture [for TCU], and they are going to be really good next year," said Calvin.
Calvin also says he would love the opportunity to play for a coach like Gary Patterson who can help him improve on and off the field.
"Definitely I want to play well at the next level, and Coach Patterson is an awesome coach. They win, and I like that about them. They won the Rose Bowl just a few years ago."
