Weekend Visitor Preview

TCU is hosting a pair of uncommitted players this weekend.

With signing day just a week and a half away, the Frogs are looking to put the finishing touches on an impressive 2013 class.

The Frogs could take a full class and if they do, seven spots remain. While last weekend's list of visitors included four uncommitted players, this weekend's list consists of more committed players.

Charlie Reid, Ty Slanina, George Baltimore, Patrick Morris, Bryson Henderson and Dac Shaw are the current commitments expected to be in town. Joining those six players are two of the Frogs' top remaining targets; Cydney Calvin and Gaius Vaenuku.

Cydney Calvin - CB - Frisco Centennial
Current ranking: | NR

Considering: TCU, Wake Forest, Oklahoma State

Status: Calvin burst onto the scene midway through his senior season and his hard work and athleticism earned him a TCU offer two weeks ago. Calvin is being recruited as a cornerback or safety so landing him would be a boost to either position. Calvin visited Wake Forest last weekend and may visit Oklahoma State next weekend. However, a commitment from Calvin could happen on his visit and it doesn't hurt that the Frogs already have a commitment from his teammate and close friend, Ranthony Texada. Sources say the chance his very good at Calvin committing.

Weekend commitment outlook: Very high

Gaius Vaenuku - DT - Euless Trinity
Current ranking: | No. 106

Considering: TCU, BYU, Utah, Missouri

Status: Vaenuku has visited BYU and Utah in recent weeks and enjoyed both visits. Some say Utah may hold the lead with two of his teammates committed there and another former teammate in Hiva Litui already on campus. However, Vaenuku has become more intrigued with the prospect of playing close to home so his family can see him play. Although listed as a defensive end, Vaenuku is being targeted as a defensive tackle by the Frogs. With no commitments slated to play DT for TCU, landing Vaenuku would be a big commitment. The word is that commitment very well could happen by the end of the weekend.

Weekend commitment outlook: Very High
