Antoine Ready to Visit TCU

Jermaine Antoine is hoping for a TCU offer this weekend. Will TCU extend a scholarship his way? The versatile athlete has worked hard to this point and this weekend will be the moment of truth.

Jermaine Antoine loved what he saw in the University of North Texas enough to go ahead and pull the trigger on a commitment. The 6'0" 195 pound, do it all athlete wanted to make sure he made the best decision for himself going forward but now he's visiting TCU with possibly and even tougher decision ahead.

"I'm still coming in to Ft. Worth this weekend but I'm waiting on Coach Anderson to call me tonight" he said. "When I get up there to Ft. Worth, I just really want to hear a lot about the academics."

While he's committed to North Texas, Antoine was very open and honest when discussing his affinity for TCU.

"The Academic program at TCU is really good and I want to learn more about it while I'm there" he said. "It's a small private school and for me, academics are important because I really need that diploma."

With his interest in the Horned Frogs already high, would an offer from TCU change up his recruitment?

"If they decide to offer me while I'm there, I'm going to take it" he said. "I like Coach Anderson and Coach Sharp, they're the ones recruiting me and they're real cool and they call me every once in a while."

"I don't have anything to say about they're football program" said Antoine. "They're awesome and it speaks for itself."
