Johnson Up To Five Offers

Ennis, Texas safety JahShawn Johnson has seen his offer list grow to five in recent weeks. TCU was the second program to offer the rising prospect.

Ennis defensive back Jahshawn Johnson added a TCU offer when he visited the Ft. Worth campus for a Frogs' junior day in late February. The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder now holds offers from TCU, Texas Tech, Baylor, Washington and Tulsa.

The latter three offered about three weeks ago according to Johnson. He could be on the verge of adding his fourth Big 12 offer soon.

"I've talked to the Kansas coach and he said he was going to get back to me next week," Johnson said. "That's about it for now."

Surprisingly, Johnson hasn't corresponded much with the TCU coaches since his visit. However, he receives his steady share of mail.

"They send mail every now and then but I haven't talked to a coach in a while," he said of TCU.

As for visits, Johnson only has one planned at the moment.

"I'll probably be busy on the weekends with track and everything," Johnson said. "The next visit I'll get to is probably going to be Baylor on April 6th."
