"Practice was good, I really liked it there" said Maxey. "They offered me today."
With Maxey claiming a TCU offer, did he see enough to commit to the Frogs or is he waiting to see what other offers come his way?
"I wanted to commit but they told me I had to wait" said Maxey. "They said they wanted my parents to be there before I committed but I don't know, I really wanted to today."
While Maxey doesn't currently hold any other offers, he says he knows TCU is where he wants to be. With high school teammate Zaycoven Henderson already on board for the class of 2014, Maxey says he's ready to be finished with the process.
"I like TCU and the way everything is" he said. "I've been hearing from Oklahoma but I want to commit to TCU so I'm going to wait until they tell me I can."
Coming in at 5'10" and 185 pounds, Maxey fits the mold of the athletic safeties that TCU likes to target. While he hasn't received other offers to this point, it's just a matter of time before more come his way.
