Stewart Snags TCU Offer

The TCU Horned Frogs have offered Mesquite Horn WR Jarrison Stewart. The 5'11" 177 pound WR says he doesn't know much about TCU but plans to see them up close on July 19th when he visits for a camp.

Jarrison Stewart became the latest 2015 prospect to receive an offer from TCU on Thursday. The 5'11" 177 pound receiver says he received the news from his coach this morning while he was preparing for the 2013 season.

"I found out today during workouts when my coach kind of surprised me with it" he said. "It's all God, he did all of that and I'm just blessed to have it."

Now holding two offers, from TCU and SMU, Stewart is getting a real taste of the recruiting process. He says he's not familiar with the TCU program "at all" but plans on visiting on July 19th to get to know the school that just extended him an offer.

With his his attention focused squarely on academics, the Mesquite Horn star says he's looking for a school that fits him on and off the field.

"First is education and second would be playing time" he said. "I also want to go where I fit into the system well."

With more offers sure to come, Stewart is doing his best to get his name out there in recruiting circles. In addition to the camp he's attending at TCU, the young prospect says he has another school in mind for a visit.

"July 21st I'm hitting up the Texas A&M camp" he said. "I'm pretty excited about checking them out."

With a long time until signing day for 2015 prospects, Stewart says he's in no hurry to make a decision.
