What makes Hunter an impact player?
Hunter came to TCU as a 4 star prospect with high expectations placed on him from day one by the TCU fan base. He hasn't disappointed. After starting 1 game in 2011 as a freshman, Hunter started 9 games during the 2012 season, but contributed heavily in all 13 games TCU played . As one of the key cogs in TCU's Big 12 leading defense, Hunter established himself as a force in the middle and elevated his game more and more as the season wore on. Strong defensive line play leads to strong defensive back play and Hunter was one of the key members of the D-line that helped vault TCU's secondary into the limelight last season. Regarded as a leader on and off the field, Hunter is primed to emerge even more on to the national stage with a big junior season. Already being discussed as a potential future NFL star, Hunter looks to make an impact from the LSU game all the way until Baylor visits Fort Worth at the end of the year. If TCU wants to reach their lofty goals for 2013, Hunter will need to continue his rise to stardom by elevating his game to new heights. TCU's defense should firmly establish themselves as the Big 12's best in 2013 and Chucky Hunter should be leading the charge..
