Mitchell Picks Up TCU Offer

Round Rock, Texas 2015 defensive end Breylin Mitchell picked up a TCU offer on Monday.

Several prospects attended TCU's linemen camp last Friday and one of the top prospects in attendance was Round Rock 2015 defensive end Breylin Mitchell.

Mitchell, who came in at 6-foot-4, 253-pounds displayed quickness off the edge and was one of the top participants during one-on-one drills.

Apparently the work he put in on Friday was good enough to merit an offer from the Horned Frogs which Mitchell confirmed on Monday afternoon via text.

Aside from TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and others have shown interest in Mitchell.

HornedFrogBlitz.com caught up with Mitchell on Friday to discuss what he liked about his camp visit to TCU.

"Everything is real nice, I really love the coaches," Mitchell said of TCU. "I really like the tight ends coach, he got me pumped. The d-line coach is real nice. I could relate real good with them."

Mitchell went on to say that TCU's history of producing defensive players to the NFL is another reason the Frogs are high on his list of favorites.

"I follow TCU because my favorite color is purple," he said. "I know their d-line coach is like the godfather of sending defensive linemen to the NFL, that's why I like them. That's a plus for why I want to go there."
