Joining the two in the defensive backfield is yet another very talented player, talented enough that he himself "already" holds five offers. That player is 2015 safety prospect Holton Hill.
Hill, a 6-foot-2, 175-pounder, can play corner or safety at the next level. He'd already earned offers from Baylor, Houston, SMU and Texas Tech before adding his latest offer from another Big 12 school a few weeks ago; TCU.
Hill participated in the Frogs' skills camp on July 19th and shortly after he received news that he had an offer.
"I was happy that I finally got the offer," he said. "I felt that I did good at the camp to get the offer. I got positive feedback, every time I did something good they told me I did good. They also showed me more that I can work on."
Following the camp Hill and his family met with TCU head coach Gary Patterson. Hill knows he's definitely on the Frogs' radar for the next two years.
"He told me they were offering as a safety and corner," he said of his conversation with Patterson. "He also said they've been watching me. He told me I did good at camp and that's why they wanted to offer me."
Hill was impressed with the Frogs' facilities while he was on campus and knows with his skill set that he would be a good fit for Patterson's defense.
"I liked their facilities a lot," Hill said. "I know that they're real good defense. I think I could fit in there."
