Swain broke the news via Twitter while on his visit to Ft. Worth on Friday to watch a Frogs practice.
"I will be spending my college career at #TCU. Proud to say I'm now a horned frog!" Swain wrote on Twitter.
The nations' No. 29 outside linebacker prospect, Swain chose TCU over a ton of others including Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford, Oregon, Iowa, Arkansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern and Tennessee among others.
Swain had narrowed his choices to a top five of TCU, Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford and Oregon.
He also noted via Twitter that he felt the timing was right for his decision.
"This is the right decision for me so no reason to wait any longer and have others try to influence me differently," he wrote on Twitter.
Swain confirmed to HornedFrogBlitz.com that he was happy with his commitment and would discuss his commitment later. In his words, he "was ready to scope out the competition" at linebacker in the Frogs' afternoon practice.
