Now holding offers from TCU, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Boston College, Vanderbilt, NC State, UCLA, Mississippi State and West Virginia, Ude has the same love for the Horned Frogs and says he plans on making it back to watch a TCU game sometime this year.
"I've got 9 right now but I just got back from some camps yesterday" said Ude. "I've probably got some more coming so I need to ask my coach but it's all about my team at this time so I'll let you know as soon as I find out exactly what other offers I have."
With his season ramping up, the athletic defender says he's going to focus on his team during workouts but plans on taking some visits during the season.
"Right now I'm slowing down because our first scrimmage is on Thursday and then we have a game next Friday" he said. "I'm going to take a lot of visits during the season on Saturdays, for sure I'm going to do that."
With his level of interest in the Frogs seemingly very high, does he still plan on making a TCU game this fall?
"I'm still planning on doing that but I have not started really figuring out any games I'm going to come to" he said. "I'm just trying to figure out which schools I'm going to go visit right now."
With the Frogs making a strong impression on Ude during his visit, he stands by his previous claims that he's very interested in TCU.
"Oh yeah, most definitely" he said. "Definitely still interested in TCU, very interested actually."
Considering there seems to be a high level of interest and the fact that TCU plays a high level game against LSU to open the season, has Ude considered coming to Arlington for the big showdown on August 31st?
"That's actually a game I would love to go see but I really want to be able to go see Devonte Fields in action and I know he's not going to be able to play in that game" said Ude. "That might be a thing that might hinder me from going to that game, especially since it's the first game and I haven't figured out what my schedule is going to be."
"I'll have to get a plane ticket to go down and see a TCU game so that one will probably be unlikely, but I definitely would want to go watch that game; I'll definitely be watching on TV."
As TCU's first game draws nearer, it's becoming more and more apparent just how big of a game this is. Recruits and fans across the country will be tuned in to see if the Frogs can take down one of the beasts from the mighty SEC. Ude will be watching, but so will every other recruit TCU is after.
