"Yes sir, I'm still hearing from TCU" said Flowers. "I'm planning on coming down there for a game depending on how my schedule looks."
The 6'0" 210 pound QB is being recruited by some as a QB and by others as a receiver. Ranked by Scout.com as the #12WR in the country, his athleticism is indisputable.
With 21 offers from programs such as TCU, Texas, Tennessee, Clemson, Nebraska, Ole Miss, West Virginia and others, Flowers has a tough task as he sorts through the endless mail from suitors. With that in mind, the Miami star has narrowed his focus to six schools.
"Tennessee, Cincinnati, Clemson, Nebraska, Texas and TCU" he said. "I'm going to try to visit Cincinnati during the season for a game."
"I want to make my decision right after the season sometime."
After being committed for a very brief time to South Florida, Flowers reopened his commitment and has focused on the schools that will give him a shot at QB. While he says TCU is one of those schools, the fact that the Horned Frogs have two quarterbacks already committed makes for a logjam if Flowers does indeed choose TCU.
"I'm looking for a school where I can major in business, become a pediatrician or major is sports medicine" said Flowers. "The other thing is, I'm looking for a family atmosphere and a team with good organization."
Flowers went on to say that everyone in his top 6 was recruiting him as a QB and that he plans on playing that position at the next level.
With TCU currently sitting pretty with two of the nations top quarterbacks in the fold, Flowers will be watching the Frogs closely to see if he fits in with their plans as signing day draws closer.
