Boykin leads TCU past SLA

TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin tossed two touchdown passes on Saturday as the Frogs defeated Southeastern Louisiana 38-17.

TCU fans knew Trevone Boykin was athletic, but even the sophomore quarterback surprised himself on Saturday by leading the Frogs in passing and receptions.

Boykin, who replaced an injured Casey Pachall led the Frogs offense by completing 9-of-13 passes for 133 yards with 2 touchdowns and also caught 3 passes for 25 yards. For good measure, Boykin also rushed for 35 yards on 5 carries. He admitted following the game that he wanted to throw a touchdown, run for one and catch a touchdown pass.

Boykin met with the media following his big performance.
