Lynch Adds TCU Offer

On Tuesday Troup, Texas quarterback Blake Lynch received an offer from TCU.

Troup, TX 2015 quarterback Blake Lynch has had a busy week on the recruiting front picking up two offers in two days. On Monday Lynch picked up an offer from Clemson and on Tuesday he added an offer from the TCU Horned Frogs.

"I'm excited about both, both are really nice programs," Lynch said of Clemson and TCU. "I fit both offenses really well!"

Lynch, a four-star prospect is currently rated as the No. 21 quarterback in the country and sits at No. 243 overall in the Scout.com Top 300 for the 2015 class.

The Horned Frogs have shown the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder strong interest for quite some time. He was glad to hear the good news from TCU receivers coach Curtis Luper on Tuesday.

"I'm glad TCU has offered me," Lynch said of receiving the TCU offer. "TCU is one of my favorite colleges."

Lynch has kept his eye on the Frogs program and says there are a variety of reasons why they stand out in his mind.

"I like the passion they play with and the dedication they have toward winning," he said. "The coaching staff is also great."

The Frogs have a bye this week and will host SMU on the 28th. Lynch plans to be in attendance to watch the two rivals play.

"I'm most likely coming to watch them play SMU," Lynch said.

Lynch has offers from Nebraska, Baylor, Mississippi State, TCU and Clemson.
