Where does TCU stand for 2015 LB?

TCU offered Coldspring, TX 2015 prospect Alec Dunham over the summer.

For Alec Dunham, the 2013 season was looking bright just two games into his junior season for Coldspring, TX. Dunham had rushed the ball 30 times for 248 yards and 1 score while helping the Trojans to a 1-1 record.

However, his season ended abruptly against LaMarque in the third game when he injured his ACL after just two carries.

Despite the injury, Dunham says he still continues to draw interest from several programs. TCU and Houston offered him over the summer and despite the injury, the 2015 prospect added his third offer recently.

"Recruitment is still hot with schools such as OU and even a new offer from Illinois despite my injury," Dunham said.

Dunham continues to talk with TCU when he's allowed. In fact, Dunham says they're the team that has stayed in contact the most since his season-ending injury.

"I still love TCU," he said. "Coach Patterson was the single coach to check on me through the process of surgery and rehab. They're still my number one. All of the staff has shown encouragement."

Dunham, who was offered by TCU as a linebacker, has kept a close eye on what the Frogs have done this season. Like many others, he's noticed the same tendencies through the first half of the season.

"Defense is great. Offense is struggling horribly," Dunham said.

While he sees the struggles on offense, Dunham feels if the Frogs can get the whole team in the right direction he sees a bright future for the Frogs.

"A lot of times the offense just couldn't score," he said. If the defense can stop and they can score, TCU is undefeated."
