Lundblade Still On TCU's Radar

Argyle (TX) Liberty Christian offensive lineman Brad Lundblade visited TCU last weekend.

Argyle (TX) Liberty Christian offensive lineman Brad Lundblade added his eleventh offer last week when the Toledo Rockets extended an offer.

Lundblade now holds offers from Nevada, New Mexico, New Mexico State, North Texas, San Diego State, SMU, Toledo, Tulane, Tulsa, ULM and Wake Forest.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder continues to keep in contact with others; including TCU.

"It hasn't been too crazy. I've been keeping in touch with a lot of schools, TCU being one of those. I've been keeping in touch with a lot of people, it's been good," he said.

Lundblade has been on the Frogs radar since the summer, having attended a one-day camp with the Frogs in June. While the communication between him and TCU coaches remains constant, at the moment he's not sure if he'll receive an offer from the Frogs since they are looking more at recruiting tackles.

"Coach Sharp told me a while back that right now they're looking for a tackle," he said. "He said they could still take an interior guy but they're not sure right now. He told me to keep in touch and that I'm high on their list as far as interior guys go. It's just a matter of kind of waiting it out and seeing if there's a spot there."

Last week Lundblade attended his first TCU game as a recruit and saw the Frogs beat Kansas 27-17. Like others have stated, Lundblade said the game was plenty hot but overall he enjoyed his time on campus.

"It was fun, it was actually the first game me and my dad have been to from a recruiting standpoint, we had never been there for a visit before," he said. "It was fun and we enjoyed it. It was pretty hot, we went and stood in the concourse. It was a good game, it was closer than it should've been but we enjoyed it. It was good."

Never one to disclose his favorites throughout the process, Lundblade still isn't ready to name a leader among his eleven offers. He hopes to start narrowing down his choices after his senior season once he's able to make some official visits.

"My plans are to play my senior year and see what happens and make a decision after that," Lundblade said. "I want to make a few visits in early December and kind of assess which schools are at the top then and make a decision from there. Most schools are still pretty even right now but after I take my officials I'll be able to narrow it down pretty easily."

As for games, Lundblade has a couple on his mind that he would like to see in the coming weeks.

"I'd like to make it OU and I'm trying to make it to the TCU game versus Texas," he said. "But, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it yet."
