Stewart Putting Up Big Numbers

The Mesquite Horn receiver is on quite a roll this season and he hopes his strong play translates into more offers on the recruiting trail. What did the TCU target have to say? has you covered.

The TCU Horned Frogs were the first school to offer talented Mesquite Horn receiver, Jarrison Stewart. After watching him destroy any and all comers at a TCU camp over the summer, fans and media alike have watched him develop into one of the state's best play-makers this season.

"Our season is going really well and recruiting is going pretty good too" said Stewart. "I still have the same two offers but I'm happy with the way things are going."

"Our season started out strong, then we tailed off but now we've picked it back up again."

The two offers Stewart's referring to are the ones he picked up from TCU and SMU. While no other school has thrown their hat into the ring just yet, Stewart thinks others could come soon.

"I like Baylor and I like Oklahoma State as far as schools that haven't offered me" he said. "As far as the schools recruiting me now, I still really like TCU, most definitely."

With a season that has seen the big play receiver amass nearly 600 yards receiving and 4 TD's, Stewart says his preseason goals are still in sight.

"I still want to get to 900 yards receiving and I think I can still get it" said the Horn star. "We have a bye this week but I'll be ready to go next week after getting a little rest."

Even though TCU has struggled this year, to the tune of a 3-5 start, Stewart says he still likes what he sees in the Frogs.

"I went to the last game when they played Texas" he said. "It was really loud and the atmosphere was amazing; I really enjoyed the whole thing."

While things haven't gone as planned on the field for the Frogs in 2013, they're still in the thick of the race for a good number of excellent prospects.
