"Ha, word travels fast! Yes, I did commit to TCU yesterday," Dunham confirmed.
What was it that led the three-star to commit?
"Number one reason was TCU as a school, the campus," Dunham said.
Dunham, at 6-foot-1, 215-pounds, is currently ranked as the No. 26 outside linebacker in the country and No. 3 in Texas by Scout.com. Dunham also had offers from Houston and Illinois and was receiving strong interest from Oklahoma.
Houston offered Dunham as a runningback while TCU and Illinoise had offered as a linebacker. TCU's tradition on defense was another reason Dunham chose the Frogs. That and the man behind the defense; Gary Patterson.
"Coach P seems like the concerned coach with the bigger picture. I don't see many defensive minded coaches with more to offer than TCU," he said. "Not in Texas."
The newest commit was in attendance earlier this season when the Frogs played LSU at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Dunham has missed nearly all of the 2013 season after injuring his ACL in the third game of the season. In two games Dunham had rushed 30 times for 248 yards and 1 touchdown.
As for rehab, Dunham is in high spirits.
"(It's) going great, Dr. Lowe and Ironman is a great group of people," he said.
