At nearly 5-foot-10, 185-pounds, Martin has the size necessary to play at the next level and speed to burn.
Martin came into Dunbar's bi-district game against Wichita Falls with over 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns on the year so the Coyotes key to the game was stopping the junior running back. Wichita Falls succeeded most of the night in stopping Martin, but he finished with 86 yards on 17 carries. Martin has excellent quickness and wastes little time making a decision. He is not easily tackled, routinely breaking the first tackle. When contact is about to be made, Martin isn't shy to duck his head and try trucking the defender. Whether it's running to the outside or between the tackles, Martin can get yards. Martin's ability doesn't stop at running the ball; he also caught the ball well and did a good job on protecting the quarterback on some passing plays.
