HornedFrogBlitz.com caught up with Ryan Griswold to get his take on his senior season and to get the latest on his recruitment.
"It meant a whole lot to our program because last year we went out in the first round" said Griswold of Pearland's state title run this season. "They switched up our off season just to whip us into shape and to get us all the way there like we did; it was incredible."
At 6'5" and nearly 260 pounds, Griswold has the perfect frame to add weight. With the right collegiate strength and conditioning program, Griswold could develop into an outstanding tackle at the next level.
Speaking of the next level, the Boise State commit says a couple of new schools have entered the picture for his services.
"My coach told me Friday that TCU was offering and it was pretty incredible" he said. "I know that TCU is a great program and they're going up right now so it will be a great season for them next year and I'm really interested in them."
When asked if he was considering TCU now that the Frogs have offered, Griswold didn't hide his emotions.
"Oh yes sir, I'm definitely considering TCU because with the head coaching change at Boise, I was more committed to him than the school so TCU's looking really strong right now."
With December coming to s close, Griswold says that he plans on getting up to TCU for an official visit sometime soon.
"We're making plans to come up (to Fort Worth) in January so I'll have my final decision after I get an official visit".
On a side note, Griswold mentioned that another school came into the picture as soon as he received his TCU offer and Texas Tech is now trying to get him to Lubbock for an official before he makes his decision.
