Will he visit any schools other than Arizona State?
"That's most likely it" said Barrett via text.
With offers from well over 20 programs, Barrett has long been a sought after man. Through it all, the Dallas Skyline product has always stated that he's 100% to the Frogs. After talking with him tonight, nothing has changed for the long time TCU commit.
With TCU message boards lighting up with discussion about the possibility of the Frogs losing one of the linchpins of their 2014 recruiting class, Barrett had a message for the Frog faithful.
"Lol, no, just put no" texted Barrett. "Tell them to chill, I'm 100 percent."
When asked if he considered himself a "soft verbal" to TCU, he responded with a simple "Heck no, lol." It's understandable that TCU fans would get nervous when one of their top recruits takes other visits. They've lost players in recent recruiting classes in much the same way. However, Ty Barrett has been all TCU from the moment he committed and his family is right on board with him.
You get one chance to go through the recruiting process, and for a young man, it's undoubtedly some of the best times of their young lives. Why not enjoy the fruits of your labor? Like Barrett has said numerous times; he's earned this.
