A Possible Visit For Bussey?

New Oreleans, LA running back Kendall Bussey added an offer from TCU last week.

New Orleans (LA) Isadore Newman School running back Kendall Bussey has seen his stock rise since the beginning of the year. A one-time commitment to Tulane, the 5-foot-9, 190-pounder recently made a switch to Nebraska following a junior day visit to the Lincoln campus.

He's added three more offers since his commitment to the Cornhuskers.

"Since Nebraska, I've added Arizona State, Missouri and TCU," he said of his new offers. "It's picked up quite a bit."

One offer in particular caught Bussey's attention; TCU. Why they caught his eye is easy; the Frogs featured his favorite running back growing up.

"LaDainian Tomlinson was my favorite running back growing up, I always wore #21 when I was younger," he said. "I wear #5 now."

Bussey says the offer shocked him a little since it was the school of his idol. But, the fleet running back also knows the school has a lot more to offer than just being the alma mater to his favorite player.

"I was a little shocked but felt very blessed to receive that offer," Bussey said. "I love where TCU is located; they have a good academic school."

Although he is committed to Nebraska, Bussey says it's a possibility that he takes a visit to TCU during the spring.

"They've asked me to visit and me and my dad definitely want to go up and visit just to check it out," he said.

Two TCU coaches are actively recruiting Bussey; running backs coach Curtis Luper and linebackers coach DeMontie Cross. Bussey says he likes the message he's received from the coaches; especially one that is a very high compliment.

"They're very nice, they've given me the whole run down of what to expect at TCU and how I can come in and play," he said. "I've always been a LaDainian fan and they said I could come in and be just like him."
