The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder is currently rated as the No. 43 defensive end prospect in the nation.
Since his commitment to Texas, Omenihu says he's received a ton of interest from different programs.
Omenihu picked up his tenth offer on Wednesday when TCU offered the rising prospect. The Frogs have shown strong interest since last spring and Omenihu likes what he sees in their program.
"I've been getting recruited by them since spring," Omenihu said. "I like Coach Patterson and I know that they are really recruiting well. I like the coaches and I feel like they are really on the rise."
Omenihu says a visit to the Ft. Worth campus to catch a spring practice isn't out of the question. It's something he's discussed with TCU and he will further discuss it with his father.
"It all depends when I talk to my dad," he said.
At the moment, Omenihu says he is very happy to be a Texas Longhorn and considers himself a solid commitment. However, he also knows it's still a long way until signing day.
"I am (solid) right now but signing day is a year away so I only talk to schools that I had some sort of interest before I got offered by Texas," he finished.
