Williams Impressed With TCU Practice

Coppell, TX offensive lineman Connor Williams recaps his Thursday visit to TCU.

TCU held their sixth practice of spring camp on Thursday and had several prospects in attendance to watch the two hour workout.

Among the talented prospects on hand was Coppell, TX offensive line prospect Connor Williams.

The 6-foot-4, 255-pounder is rated as the No. 45 offensive guard in the nation and holds offers from TCU, Wake Forest, North Texas and most recently Northwestern.

Williams' visit to TCU was his second visit to the Ft. Worth campus; he last visited for a Frogs' junior day back in January. Once again, Williams was impressed on his visit.

"It was awesome, I loved the intensity and it made me ready for spring ball," he said.

Williams spent most of the time on campus watching the offensive lineman. What he noticed should be music to TCU fans' ears.

"They look very good and aggressive," he said.

The visit also gave him the opportunity to talk with his recruiter; Sonny Cumbie.

"It went well! Coach (Cumbie) was a very nice guy and we had a lot to talk about," he said. "They said I could fit in well."

Williams' next visit is still up in the air at the moment but the visit to TCU went well enough to consider them one of his top schools.

"They're definitely in the top 5!"Williams exclaimed.
