"It happened after school actually" said Duvernay. "My coaches told me that the coach wanted to talk to me and they offered me."
With offers on the table from Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas Tech, Oregon State, San Diego State, Wisconsin, and now TCU, the 5'11" playmaker is a hot commodity.
"Coach Sharp and Coach Burns are the coaches that I talked to" he said. "I haven't been up to TCU yet though."
Duvernay talked about how special it is to receive this much attention so early, stating that he knows he's only getting better so more should come his way.
"It's nice to have these opportunities early but I'm only going to get better so there's more to come" he said. "I'm just waiting it out right now to see who all comes my way."
With Duvernay seemingly in no hurry to make a decision, what is the talented prospect looking or in a school?
"I don't know really, I'm just taking my time and seeing what comes my way."
"I'm going to do some camps this summer but I'm not sure which ones yet but I'm not sure what schools I'm even going to look at yet.
With a long time until signing day 2016, Duvernay has plenty of time to figure it out.
